Organic Basil Pesto

The freshness of the just picked basil, completely by hand in the company’s fields on the slopes of the Gargano, is enhanced by ingredients such as the Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, the pecorino cheese, the pine nuts and the organic EVOO.

Ready to use and with a genuine taste, the Bio Orto Organic Basil Pesto, in the varieties with and without garlic, is a high quality product which enhances and keeps untouched the organoleptic properties of the ingredients used, thanks to a cold processing technique that intensifies its flavours and fragrances.

Ingredients: Organic basil (49%), organic EVOO, Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese* (milk*, salt, rennet), pecorino cheese* (milk*, salt, rennet), salt, organic pine nuts, in the version with garlic, organic garlic (0,4%). Acidity regulator: lactic acid.
*It is an allergen and it may provoke reactions in allergic and/or intolerant subjects.

Pairings: Ideal not only as a condiment for pasta, but also if spread on a slice of warm bread with plum tomatoes and burrata or mozzarella and a drizzle of oil.

Conservation method: Store in a cool place, away from light and heat sources. Store in the fridge once opened and consume within 3 days.
